The last line in Joshua 24:15 says, As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord (NAB).
Thirteen years ago my wife Diane & I started our married lives with the each other, the Lord and with the desire that this verse be at the center of all that we do.
This blog is one facet of our journey. Admittedly, we are new to this technology and all of its possibilities and potential hazards. However, we are compelled to share our lives with others in hopes that it will encourage and inspire people to actively pursue their faith and “pay it forward”. Our intention within these pages and postings is to reflect upon what we’ve learned about various topics such as marriage, family, community building, parenting, faith development etc. In turn, we want to learn from those of you who choose to participate in this blog with us.
So, it’s with great excitement and anticipation that we forge ahead in faith, to see what the Lord has in store…

What a great idea….it will be good to be able to stay in touch on a more regular basis. For everyone out there–Paul & Diane & I used to attend the same church, which was ALWAYS on the ‘cutting edge’.
I have been pastoring a church for the last 2 years myself & had to say goodbye to these WONDERFUL FOLKS for that reason.
